Tirakatan 17-an At Subdistrict Office.

Continuing last article, now i want to share about the Tirakatan 17-an at subdistrict office at my region. As usual, when the independence day is coming up, there is a ceremony called "Tirakatan" or just like "tasyakuran" that has meaning an expression of gratitude to God supposed to the privilege of benefiting from Independence. 

Mentioned on invitation card, the ceremony started at 07.00 p.m. Simultaneously with Ramadhan month, the first  agenda is Tarawih and Witir prayer do together. Next is start to main agenda which included speech from some speakers (you know it would be boring). The last agenda is the most expected from the audience. What is the agenda? The agenda is "Potong Tumpeng" hahaha... Do you agree? 

Potong Tumpeng is opening symbol to begin eating tumpeng and ingkung. Tumpeng is rice cooked with some original spices recipe. Ingkung is meat of whole rooster that cooked with milk squeezed from coconut. It is must try! If you are not Indonesian. Don't ask me about the taste, just come to my country.
